Mental Health Evidence Review
A working group led by Dr. Pablo López, a member of the Cochrane Collaboration, was formed within the INPP, aimed at the systematic review of evidence in mental health, and in particular, on the use of evidence-based non-pharmacological treatments. During 2020, work was carried out on the development of three protocols within the Cochrane Collaboration: a) systematic review and meta-analysis of transdiagnostic psychotherapeutic treatments for anxiety disorders; b) rapid review of non-pharmacological interventions for sleep problems in the general population during the COVID-19 pandemic; c) rapid review of non-pharmacological interventions for sleep problems in health professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. During 2021, work will be done on a meta-analysis of the psychological impact of the pandemic in LATAM and a systematic review and meta-analysis of cost-effective psychological interventions in LMICs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
