VACCINES AND DISINFORMATION
The COVID-19 and Social Vulnerability subsidy, 2020 Contest of the Bunge y Born Foundation was obtained to carry out the project “Evidence-based strategies against misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines in vulnerable populations: relevance for herd immunity”, in association with Checked. The project is directed by Dr. Pedro Bekinschtein, and has the participation of Dr. Noelia Weisstaub and Dr. Fernando Torrente as researchers from the INECO – INCYT – INPP Foundation. The project to be developed during 2021 aims to test three types of interventions to combat misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines in socioeconomically vulnerable groups and modify negative attitudes towards vaccination. The interventions are based on gamification, digital literacy and framing procedures.
